Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Whatnot requested I send them the item in question.
After feigning ignorance as to whether it was authentic of not..they sent a full refund. I was also contacted by another guy that had been fleeced by the same guy. He contacted Whatnot the same day he received the fake item...smdh.
I referred him to your site. Your site helped me immensely..thank you.
They sent another email on 11/28 (Thanksgiving giving eve at 7pm) It stated that I needed to send the item to them for evaluation ..I have 3 days. I printed out the postage and label they sent the next morning and sent it off.
It still hasn't arrived as of yet(I'm tracking it -I used THEIR LABEL AND POSTAGE..I have a receipt and screenshots. I just want it resolved..aka my money back and that thief banned from the app. I wish they had better customer service. Being able to talk to a real person would enhance WHATNOT 1000 fold.
I still buy comics but nothing crazy because I don't want to be in this position ever again. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon

Still no conversations about my money being returned. I have all the screenshot and communications....I just want my money back. If this situation continues I will have to let the government deal with this...I will get my money back.eventually..and people will have to deal with the outcome of their inaction. I've said it once and I'll say it again...I refuse to be some clowns victim. There is no hiding behind a company.
I don't understand how this is still ongoing. Ebay wouldn't treat a customer like this...but this ain't Ebay. I have a time limit and a patience limit.
I've done all that I can do through their channels. 1000 is real money to me.
(I'm new to collecting coins.) I reported that when I received it. All I've received are two emails... one acknowledging the report and the other stating, 'they have completed their investigation and taken the appropriate steps. They can't disclose the outcome due to privacy...' and yet nowhere did they discuss my refund.
If my $1000 isn't returned. Whatnot may have some legal problems that I promise you. They won't survive as an entity. I haven't contacted the seller...
and if I have to, I will take my money physically from him and deal with the consequences later. I refuse to be someone's victim... I absolutely refuse! Do not spend large amounts of money for singular items...
there is no support for customers. You have to rely on the integrity of the retailer.
There are some great sellers... but the trash that's lurking amongst them, it just isn't worth it sometimes.

Purchased 9 pairs of shoes from the same guy. He says he couldn't find 2 of the pairs even though you clearly hear him tell the chat the price was too low.
So I sent a message telling him to cancel my full order or replace the shoes with the same pairs in different sizes, and he pretty much called me a little *** kid and blocked me. So unprofessional. I feel like you guys don't crack down enough on these sellers.
If he didn't like the price they sold for, then don't run them at a dollar. I think he should be banned from Whatnot for a while.

I alerted the seller ASAP that I needed to cancel all transactions. Only one transaction was canceled.
The seller advised to return items once received, and they'd return my money. This was in December 2024! I've disputed through the seller and disputed through the Whatnot app, and since December my status on all orders showed 'under review.' Here it's March 13th, 2025, and I'm still waiting on my $4,000. My bank, Wells Fargo, is a *** nightmare!
They declined all my disputes, saying that because I returned the items, I need to work with Whatnot. Whatnot doesn't answer a damn thing! It's all automated; they ask the same questions over and over again. If you are lucky to get a person, they lack any knowledge to help you.
Stay far, far, far away from this place! Don't do it!
Trust me, it's not worth it!

My baby brother was using my account to look at football cards and made a purchase of $31.44 without my permission. I can't get the seller or anyone else to respond when I request my money back.

There is not much to say, but I paid for my merchandise. I just don't like to be ripped off when the seller has already been paid for the merchandise.
I just want everything to be fixed. If I don't get my merchandise back, I at least want my money back because I did waste quite a lot. I have my bank account where all the payments are charged. The invoice doesn't even have my information, it's someone else's.
Please fix it as soon as possible and talk to the seller and whatnot. Can you please make sure you don't have scammers? But I know we all make mistakes.

Greedy sellers
I'm writing to escalate an order which has caused me significant stress. Despite expecting a good deal through your platform, a glitch resulted in an incorrect $300 charge for a returned used jacket from a store.
( paid tooo much since jacket just retails 100$ something. Usually people here come to buy to get deals but I got robbed actually. I'm extremely disappointed in the host's and owner's lack of commitment to honoring their agreements and responding to my messages. I urgently require a refund and plan to return the item.
After consulting with other sellers from live shows, they advised me to report this seller for failing to honor the terms stated during the live event. Can you please re-run the video of the incident? During the live show, viewers pointed out that I was bidding to myself only and my phone continued to bid. The host assured me that they would cancel my bid if I hit 'request to cancel.' So I did what she instructed me and re assured via message that I already requested to cancle, However, after 6 hours, the order was marked as shipped.
The following day, I contacted them again, but they blocked me on their show. I've sought advice from other buyers, who have expressed similar concerns. It also happened today that the host again was live, and I had to go and ask it on live stream and she remembered it. She said she put a note on that order and maybe they disregard it.
She said she is just an employee and she cant do anything about it. Buyers message me and said to report it to whatnot again. Please take action against this seller, outcozycorner as their behavior seems unfair and greedy towards buyers. I needed my refund back and return the jacket please.
They blocked me on their live after purchasing it . Im putting these for the buyers to be careful, What a greedy seller.

I still never received the shoes that I one. In addition my information was sent to a scammer that acted like the party that I won the shoes from.
They extorted money from thinking I was paying for shipping and I never received the shoes.
This has been very frustrating and down right wrong in every way. I have no way of recouping my money or receiving the shoe item that I one.
I have been unable to speak to someone to explain what is going on. I cannot find a working number.

I have not been delivered the shoe and unfortunately I have had 2 different text threads from different addresses try to get different amounts of money from me. . Both have tried to extort money from me especially I was offered different shoes than what the giveaway was for, I was sent a wrong shoe by him and he is now trying to drive to my home to give me the correct size. He won't ship.
He will only deliver personally. He asked for gas money, lost his card and his personal phone, etc. Some real shady stuff. This is crazy stuff!
I won a giveaway, I just want the give away shipped to me in a size 12.5. I have tried looking for a contact number for coolkicks and whatnot to report this but can't fine one. I don't know what to do. They were a christmas present and I don't know how to resolve this.
It is harassment on my phone everyday asking for more money. Shoes cost about $20-$25 to ship and this guy has gotten over $100 out of me. My dumb mistake. I know Coolkics and What DO NOT operate this way.

No help at all! I still am trying to get my refunds.
The only response I’ve received is stating they did process.
They don’t really to any direct questions! Awful customer care!
I have tried many, many, many times to reach out to customer support and the sellers directly, only to get blown off. I sent all the necessary documents (I had to do all the legwork), showing all the debits, compared to each individual order (date, order # included), along with credits issued from 3/30/25 to today, April 10, 2025. It also shows that all these orders were canceled immediately after they were processed but the refund didn't get processed. It also shows in the order area when an order shipped, and all these orders' tracking, and when it never shipped, it doesn't have anything at all listed in that area because it was canceled before they processed it for shipping.
So the sellers still made money for all those orders, I paid for all those orders, and the items never even left the shelves for me, and now I've been ignored. I've tried to submit tickets for help, sent messages over and over again, and NOTHING! The sellers just tell you to contact the app for support for any refunds, which is terrible, especially when you paid someone for products never shipped and it was canceled by the sellers. No matter what I've provided or asked, it didn't matter!
They have ripped me off and owe me for 11 orders.
I wouldn't be upset like this if it were maybe a couple of orders, but we're talking hundreds of dollars. I can't imagine how many others have been ripped off, but I can't say I'm not stopping and will take it to the top to make sure they don't get away with this!
